Triumph 5TA Speed Twin ISDT Replica 500cc

Lovely, sweet running bike built in trials trim. Fully road legal. I use this bike daily  and it performs faultlessly . It has brisk acceleration and is great fun to ride. It was built by a member of the VOC. The bike is 12V electrics and is charging well.

It starts first kick with no smoke from the exhaust.

Conical front hub which is apparently quite sought after

 The front forks are BSA which are longer than the original. As is the rear wheel thwe rear shocks have n

been extended by 2 inches so the bike is higher than an original 5TA. 20" front rim which looks like new and an 18" rear which is clean.

2 into 1 upswept exhaust.

Still on points with a solid state rectifier.

Condition is not concours but good with a few scratches but it suits this bike and gives it a sense of history.

Just passed MOT with no advisorys and of course is free Tax.

Reason for sale is I have fell in love with another Triumph so unfortunately this one will have to go.

I rode the bike today. In the sunshine, and I noticed that one of the four little screw-on rocker covers was missing. It doesn't affect the running and there is no oil flying out from the hole, it was there yesterday so it must have dropped off whilst I was on it. I went back to look on the road but no luck. Just thought 'd let you all know. Thanks
