good pair of treen olive wood pots one i think is snuff (the one that has a grove turned around the middle) this also has black writing on the top which i think is french but is a little worn and difficult to read could be someone name ,other wise in very good condition with good patina and no splits and lid is a good fit. The other box is straight sided and has no decoration , this is a little dirty may have been a power pot not sure? lid fits ok but not a very tight fit . nice pair of boxes for the treen collector both date from late 19th century .
