Sony aibo ERS-210.

I bought this new from Sony Europe in 2001 (cost was something like £1,200 if I remember correctly).  I bought it with the Sony Aibo Life memory stick.  His name is Arnold and he's about a quarter the way through the life cycle.  I used him for about a year then he went back in the box.  FYI I am now 37 and was 29 (and single, no kids) when I used him so he's always had the best of treatment by just me, the one user.

I checked him again about 3 years ago and he worked fine.

Unfortunately now when I power him up he goes through the warmup procedure but the battery is no longer strong enough to start normal operation.  I have taken a photo of him warming up (can see the lights working).

Battery is the original ERA -201B1 lithium Ion and can be refilled at:

Comes complete with original box and packaging, pink ball, Aibo life memory stick, charger and battery - which as per above has some small amount of charge but not enough to get him going fully.

He's in very good condition - no scratches etc.  Basically if I had a fully working battery you would be buying something as close to perfect as you are going to find.  Charger is in perfect condition and works - charging light comes on on the Aibo in orange and after a while the light goes out.

I would have preferred to have at least a small amount of charge in the battery to check that he still moves around ok - something I've not done for 3 years so unfortunately I cannot guarantee he still moves ok - but I can say that he's been in the box for the last 6 years so not been damaged in any way.
