Report itemShifter kart project hi you are viewing my shifter kart project that is now up for grabs. this project has been made from bare chassis up to the pictures and video you see in this listing. i bought just the bare chassis to begin with and bought all parts that are on it now from new or second hand. parts second hand were striped and made to a as new condition. from every little nut and bolt up to the hole complete engine. chassis was striped/primed and sprayed in 2k white. the engine is a 140cc 4stroke pit bike engine with a few mods. race cdi unit, performance 30mm mikuni carb with k&n style air filter, 28.8mm performance exhuast system, bigger inlet pipe. it is a clutched engine with 4 speed 1 down 3 up. engine has only seen 2 hours use and is still in the running in process. the chassis is a paul carr venom ultima and is a complete rolling chassis minus the engine so it is still usable in karting sector. in total i have spent about 1200 building this brilliant mechine from scratch. new complete engine with loom,carb,exhaust ect - 320 new brake disk plus carrier - 60 new axle 30mm hollow axle - 55 new axle bearings - 15 new rear hubs - 40 2 new rear spockets - 40 new engine heavyduty slidable engine mount - 60 new heavyduty 428 chain - 25 new tillet seat fixing kit - 15 new axle locking collars - 10 new brake lines - 10 new steering wheel and boss - 35 new wheel spacers - 15 new carbon clutch lever - 30 new front wheel bearings - 10 new bolt,nut,washer set (complete kart) - 35 used bare chassis - 80 used steering colum, stub axles,track rods plus ends - 50 used tillet large seat - 55 used pedal set - 15 used bearing carriers - 20 used freeline rims with part worn tyres - 90 used brake master cylinder and caliper - 60 used fuel tank - 10 used body work set with bars - 40 the kart is 98% finished just needs a few bits to make it totaly complete but the kart is in running order as seen is the video below. selling due to being made redundant so i now need the cash for other things. this is a very reluctant sale!! must go to a good home!! please call gary on 07899045617 for more info or questions. kart is advertised else where so i reserve the right to end the auction early!! cash on collection only please. only bid if you intend to buy. collection from fareham area near portsmouth. many thanks!
