Three really stunning pickle/spice pots from 'Sharwoods'. Very early large pot.
The largest and believed earliest, is a late Victorian and heavily embossed with 'J.A.Sharwood and Co, limited, London and Calcutta'. It has a crude double applied lip and some consistently spread irridescence.
The second is again, 'J.A.Sharwood and Co, limited, London and Bombay' and is in beautiful condition.
The third iand smallest, is embossed with the same, but this time 'London and Bombay' reads as 'Bombay and London'!
All three display beautifully alongside one another as a set and would look fantastic in a period scullery/Kitchen.
ALWAYS package as I would wish to receive an item but can not accept responsibility or guarantee any posted item against damage during postage. Proof of postage is always acquired for your convenience, should an item ever arrive broken, please advise me and I will provide the serial number issued at point of dispatch.
Seller will dispatch upon full cleared payment within 2 working days by second class unless large parcel which goes first class. (please note it states first class in option and on any payment receipt but I cannot change this, so please be aware). I attend the Post Office Tuesdays and Thursdays with all cleared payment items but may occasionally be able to dispatch on Saturdays.
I am more than happy to post overseas but at extra cost for international postage, please contact me before bidding for cost. Thank you.
