You are bidding on 200+gms bag of Ryeland Sheep fleece

Ideal for Spinning 

The wool is Natural in either white , or I have some coloured fleeces (pale grey through to dark brown)

as shorn from the sheep.  (please can you state when you win which you would like) 

 

Both my white and coloured Ryelands are registered, all have pedigrees, and are prize winning sheep.  

 

Ideal as natural filling for soft toys; lining for boxes; fishing feathers etc. One lady used the wool to make a sheep clock, using the wool for the numbers.

 

This is Raw Wool, unwashed and lanolin rich, uncut natural length suitable for spinning and felting.

Hi, I only collected the fleeces from the PO today, due to my working hours. Thanks once again - great quality - but I do have to say that the smaller coloured fleece is absolutely one of the best fleeces I have bought in a long time! Since last year I have been exploring different fleeces as I was getting bored with what I could access locally and I am delighted with Ryeland. Just to let you know I received the fleeces today. I would have mailed you earlier only I haven't been able to stop carding it! Not that it needs it really! If I was a more experienced spinner I wouldn't bother carding it I would just spin it.
It is utterly fantastic, a dream to work with & to handle.
I (at the moment) prefer the darker, but then I did say I have a crush on the darker wool right now.
I am going to mix both and see what I get!
I also wanted to add that the fleeces are super clean, one of the best I have bought.
They were also packaged perfectly.
So, yes, thank you so much! I will be back for more & I will tell all my spinning friends to get in touch, well maybe, I don't really want to share! LOL
