renault 5 auto almost 21yrs old and only 22K miles.

This renault 5 auto has been kept in a garage by the 89yr old lady who has owned it for the last 16 yrs.and has now done 22800 miles.I am a retired mechanic and i bought it off her.I have been driving it for 2 weeks now and cannot fault it.It has as few small marks on the bodywork but you need to look hard to see them.MOT is to17-09-2010 and tax till dec.09.I have a few bills and it had a full service oct 09. Underneath is perfect with no welding and original underseal intact.Car has power steering and the road tax is the cheaper rate of £120 a year.Tyres and battery are almost new.The lady bought the car in 1993 from a family 5 houses away and i have full V5 logbook

To answer some questions i have had---- i guarantee the mileage is genuine at 22800 and it drives like a newer car.The bills i have show it has done about 600 miles in 3 years,the lady said she will look for the history but it is a big old house so we will see. I did a 60 mile motorway trip on monday and car was perfect.It will drive home wherever you live.

Yes allan,it has 3 seat belts in the back and i have not powerwashed the engine bay it's as it came.

No wear on pedal rubbers switches or steering wheel or carpets.

i now have the service history and the dealer pack of books.The car was not used for 4 years,2002 till 2006, and the bills show it's mileage to date as 22677 mls,but has gone up a bit as i am useing it.
