Historical radio item. Braided copper wire, not unlike modern solder wick, around a wooden bobbin, Originally thought to be an aviation throw out aerial which when deployed would unwind to give a trailing aerial. However, although heavier than it appears, doubt has been raised as to whether it is heavy enought to be such an item. Length unknown but would suit QRP or receive aerial system. please see other radio related items Unfortunately, time taken for delivery may well be extended as a result of potential industrial action within the Royal Mail. |
