item description and photography

We aim to give you total confidence in the item you ultimately purchase, in the knowledge that upon receipt of which you be vindicated in your choice. Therefore we offer a detailed description of each individual item. We fully disclose size, leather or fabric type and other characteristics from modifications to signs of usage.

Our photography is the tool from which you will visually get to know your bag prior to purchase.  Each item has its unique set of images, which we never recycle to apply to another listing - even if the bags are virtually identical, so the item you see is the exact item you will receive upon purchase.

To retain shape and also for photographic purposes we often fill our less structured items with tissue paper so to give an indication of the items actual form.  The approximate dimensions of each bag are stated on the sale page, given in width x height x depth order, which together with our description and images aim to give you a very good picture of the item you are interested in. 

Our photography is carried out in-house, and remains the property of Love Handbags Ltd at all times, any unauthorised usage of such may result in legal procedures arising.

packaging

We take every care to make sure your luxury item travels safely and is well protected throughout its journey to you. All our items will reach you beautifully presented in a sturdy box designed for postal delivery. 

Many of our handbags will arrive with you complete with the brand keeper bag and or (if this is unavailable) a 100% pure cotton lovehandbags drawcord keeper bag, which are also available to purchase individually within our boutique.

Most of our packaging products contain approx 80% recycled material and are 100% recyclable, reusable & biodegradable.

shipping and delivery of goods 

We currently deliver our items to many international locations, however we cannot deliver goods to PO Boxes other than if these which are located in the United Arab Emirates. 

uk deliveries

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours upon confirmation of cleared payment.  Your parcel should reach you thereafter within one working day and will require a signature upon receipt.  We do advise that you allow a period of 5 days for delivery, due to possible external factors beyond our control which may affect delivery,  such as weather conditions and postal system delays etc.  We will contact you via email if we anticipate a delay in excess of a five day period regarding any external factors.

If payment clears on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, we will despatch promptly the following Monday.  We do not offer a guaranteed Saturday or next day delivery service, however we always endeavor to get your parcel to you in a very timely manner.

international deliveries

International parcels should reach their destination within approximately 3-7 working days, however due to customs procedures and other external factors outside our control, we kindly request you to allow approx 10 working days to receipt of your parcel.

Purchases can only be forwarded to UK addresses under the terms of this offer. If a purchase is made and payment received to have the item sent to an address outside the UK, we will subsequently invoice the purchaser for the balance required and upon receipt of funds will forward the order promptly.  If however the purchaser does not supply the postage as requested within a 48hr period we will cancel the order and refund all payments made.

combined postage

Free within the UK, and internationally we like to combine your postage costs for two or more items, finding the most economical shipping solution for you.  Upon winning an auction, please let us know if you are planning on purchasing further items so we can arrange to hold your goods until all auctions end, which we are able to do for a maximum 10 day period.  A summary of your shipping costs will be displayed on your invoice page, prior to payment being made and completion of your order.

customs import, duties and vat

Items ordered for delivery overseas may be subject to taxes and/or import duties charged when the parcel reaches the country of destination. All these costs and any other charges for customs clearance must be met by you.  Love Handbags cannot advise on these charges, though it is advisable prior to purchasing to contact your local customs office, to obtain relevant information regarding these costs.

We are not liable for any of these associated import duties and taxes, hence you are considered the 'importer of record' and therefore comply with all lawful regulations of the country where you are in receipt of the goods.

refunds

We offer a 14 day returns period with full refund for any item not as described, damaged or faulty (see love handbags website for full terms and conditions).

Upon adherence to the information supplied by ourselves within our website returns policy, and upon receipt and approved inspection of your returned item/s, we will issue you a refund promptly via your original payment method.

how to return an item to us 

Please contact us via email or telephone prior to returning an item, so we can issue a customer returns code. Within this mail kindly include the ebay transaction id, so we are aware of the reason/s for the return, and that the return is in compliance with our returns policy/ site terms and conditions.

Then fully complete our returns form (enclosed with your original invoice).  Make sure the returns form is securely enclosed within the parcel you are returning.  This form is a requirement to enable us to process any request in a timely manner.   

Any item being returned must have its original secure label intact and be forwarded via royal mail special delivery, or a fully insured international signed for method requiring a signature upon receipt, as we cannot be responsible for any goods (your property until in our hands) lost within the postal system.

cancellations of orders

If you require to cancel an order you should inform us promptly.  If your item has not been dispatched we will manage this as a refund.

If your item has been dispatched you will be requested to follow our customer returns process, meeting all the criteria as above and in our returns policy and terms and conditions. 

Under the UK distance selling regulations, you may cancel the contract for purchase with Love Handbags at any stage from your placing the order to delivery.
