This is an Antique (OLD) Trunk/Chest. I am not for certain on the year of this but I do know that it is very very old, It came out of a old building that has been in the family since the early 1900's and they may have had it prior to then. It is a little rough around the edges but that is what makes it so great. It measures approx. 23" tall and about 33" long 18" front to back. It has a top that is rounded and orginally had leather straps or handles on both sides but one of them is only stubs and the other is broken but full handle is there, as you can see from all of the pics. It also has 4 tiny wheels for moving/or carting it around. There are letters on the hardware like the locks but i can't read what they say they are rusty, I hope that the pics are enough to let you see the condition, this is really a neat item, I have not cleaned it up yet, and will ask the winning bidder what they prefer, to have it as is or cleaned up. The inside is lined with a really old pattern/picture, I do not have a key at this time, although They found several that I need to try as they were cleaning out the rest of the building. This is a great Treasure for the antique collector or interior decorater that wants to add just the right touch to a room.
