A nice sampler dated may 11th189 and then she ran out of room! by Martha Vernan`s .Shows the alphabet  little images and a cross section of stitches.seems to be made of hessian with a cotton back,size 11 1/2inchs by 11 1/2 inchs.Condition looks like the is some loss of stitches in the s outer boarder otherwise good,the stray bits of cotton on the lower left side are from the cotton back,the is some creasing due to folding(not damaged)some staining to cotton back.couple of letters have small amount of cotton thread missing.
