A 16 inch by 20 inch oil on canvas on stretcher bars by Kent 2009, The Sailor is an original work of art signed by the artist and is not a print or reproduction.  I am inspired by the pinup art of Sorayama. My intent is to create icons of masculinity through glimpses into moments of modern life.  The Sailor depicts a man in uniform.  If colors appear differently on your screen the background has no shading and is a flat bright titanium white.  The figure is painted warmly with pink and golden ochres and is sharply outlined to pop from the white of the background.
