michaleigh has no boundaries when it comes to creating our fantastic sculptured paintings
and we will use almost anything that is appropriate to create the
desired effect. Many of the substances are natural in composition such
as marble, quartz, limestone, shells, semi-precious stones wood,
coconut, hemp fibres and a variety of different metals; brass, copper,
aluminium. |

michaleigh are masters of spin paintings and were inspired by Alfons
Schillings in the early 60's, long before Damien Hirst rediscovered
this extremely versatile artform. We have refined, fine-tuned and
developed this technique to create sophisticated designs that can never
be exactly duplicated. The spontaneous way in which the paintings
develop is unique and exciting and can be very simple or delicately
intricate. |

Dane
Dane is a young innovative, on the ball, funky kind of dude. Crazy about extreme sports, hot deserted beaches, drum & bass and beautiful women.
A proficient photographer, using images he has collected from his travels to produce the awesome digital canvasses he offers on ebay.
His IT skills are second to none, allowing him incredible freedom to express his creative flair.
He is actively involved in the general running of michaleigh ART, and responsible for overseeing and producing the best gallery wrapped canvasses available anywhere.

Michael
My paintings are influenced by the exceptionally varied life I've experienced. More than 25 years ago I was inspired by Derek Bauer, one of South Africa's leading cartoonists,
to explore my creativity. I have sucessfully conquered numerous artistic and design challenges. Some of these include commissioned furniture pieces, silkscreening, electrographic etching, jewellery
design and manufacture, pottery and sculpting.
I absolutely love painting and find that there isn't enough time in a day to realise the ideas I have storing up. I constantly stretch my abilities by producing unusual
shape frames as well as adding different components to my paintings such as handbeaten and etched metal pieces. Texturising is one of my favourite qualities to bring to an art piece.
