This yarn is twisted up for us from 4 strands of 2/20 lace weight linen silk used by a top garment maker... it gives a sort of "mediaeval" look yarn with great drape after a bit of wear, strong colors and some lustre... we are not sure of the fibre mix but we would guess about 50:50... as a heavy dk each 150g cone gives 400 yards..

This yarn (actually the original lace weight) is lightly oiled for industrial knitting or weaving. We recommend following the industrial practice, which is to wash off the oils with hot water and detergent AFTER knitting (try it with a swatch first)..

The color is given in the subtitle and shown in the first photo...

We ship worldwide, unless asked otherwise we use Royal Mail first class in UK, Royal Mail Airmail small packet overseas. Usually that takes about 1 week to arrive in US or Asia, but can be a little longer.
