new old stock jaguar nippon denso alternator jag part number lna 1800ba nippon number 1012117191
think if fits aj6/x300/xjr they are 120 amps.. ideal for kit cars?
think it fit lots of other cars you would have to check ....there may be a few storage marks scrapes /scratchers on the main body where they have been moved around the stores a few times. it dose not affect the working in any way what so ever
i took one apart and fitted all the internal parts to rebuild a Toyota Lexus alternator works fine .now it was only the body on the Lexus / sorra that was different
some one has just brought one from me saying its the same as fitted to his Chrysler voyager ?
email me if you need it now ? can be collected from London wanstead e11 2GA

You can do a d.i.y. repair to your own unit
This is the most likely reason why your alternator is not
charging
On this plate there are a set of brushes a rectifier and a
set of diodes
And very easy to fit
undo the 13 mm nut remove it and the plastics black insulator bush
Then there is 1 possy screw plus 3 x 8 mm nuts undo. Then
remover the alloy rear cover [ should just lift off ] be aware of the grey
rubber gasket normally stuck to this piece underneath ?.. Then you will see a small aluminium block [rectifier
] with two screws’ remove them. Then if
you take a look around the side there is going horizontally is 4 screws you
remove these then the whole unit will lift up complete..
[ just as in the picture ]
then replace with this one reverse the undo operation the job done

Hi, Just to let you know that the alternator's body wasn't the straight fit to
chrysler voyager as i thought it would be, the mounting size is slightly
different. But the good news is that the rectifier/regulator and the brush
assembly inside was the same, needed to swop the back cover too as the
chrysler's would prove slightly smaller onto new rectifier assembly and was
touching it tight around the edges. It all worked very well in the end and i

You
can strip it to make good your own unit
remove the tin rear cover 10 mm nuts and 13 mm
electric terminal nut 1 cross head screw
under that you will find 5 items one of these will be the problem ?
1
brushes
2
rectifier and diodes
3
regulator
4
the windings
5
bearings [rarely wear]
Apart
from number 4 &5 all the rest are
just unscrew and replace [plug and play] and the problem normally lies in 1
2 or 3
Number 4 the winding are a little bit more

if
your windings look burnt you will have to check

all
