This has the ZIF connection  for the 160GB not the wider 80Gb hard drive, if you need a connector flex please let me know.

your ipod should have the slightly deeper back plate than the 80gb etc,

 Q: Hi. I have a 80gb ipod classic (6th) gen and i notice that the connector for my hard disk is not the same as this disk. Can this be possible? You say it would fit in ALL ipod classic. Thanks
A: Thats a good point, If you upgrade to 160 from 80 the connector is indeed different. I will include the corrct connector if you decide to buy ok and will add that note to the listing if possible. Dave
