I believe this chest of drawers to be from the georgian period, although as I am not an expert I cannot guarantee this I have just compared this chest of drawers with others that i have seen advertised. I know that the drawers are very old, heavy and made well out of solid wood. Due to its age the chest is quite badly scratched on every surface although I'm quite sure that it could easily be restored. It has three big drawers with two smaller drawers above and It stands on lovely feet that I have not seen on any other chest of drawers like this. One of the the key hole surrounds is missing and looking at the marks around the handles I'm not sure if the handles are the original handles (see photo) or these marks may be from the tools used at the time as I have already said Its mostly guess work. Dimensions of the drawers are width: 1070mm, depth : 480mm and height: 1120. This is a lovely solid chest of drawers.
HAPPY BIDDING!!!
