ford escort mk 2 3.9l v8 rally car

for auction is my pride and joy for the last 10 year,

it has a rover v8 3.9l engine and is lots of fun, it is not in emaculate condition as i have rallied it for 10 years and the car is 1982. it has mot till may and no tax, it has spent most of the time garaged but it is still aged

over the years it has only retired a hand full of times mainly due to gearbox probs( standard sd1 rover box) in recent years it has not finished outside the top 15 and this year it finished in the top 10.  also  it has won class wins etc at sprints and hillclimbs

only ever done tarmac not forest rallies

3.9v8, modified pistons, ported heads, quad 45 dellortos, baffled sump, paddle clutch(hydraulic), one off radiator(based on range rover), lumimition ignition, alloy thermostat housing

front suspension

capri struts, 2.25 springs, adj ride height, compression struts, adj alloy top mounts, world cup cross member, adj bottom arms, quick rack, ap discs and bells(NO FRONT CALLIPERS FITTED BUT COMES WITH AP MONTICARLO CALLIPERS IN NEED OF ATTENTION)

rear suspension

5 link single leaf slippers, blistien coilover shocks, vented discs, hydraulic handbrake, jag axle, lsd

general odds and ends

front panel removable, alloy front arches, bias pedal box, perspex windows, 6 point harness, carbon fibre bonnet, rac log book
