Corsa Merit Diesel / Spares or Repair

Vauxhall Corsa Merit Diesel, 1996, Spares or repair, I bought this car  back in april, it`s no longer needed and it needs work to pass the mot. No history, mileage not verified, currently showing approx 74000, towbar, CD player

Car can be driven away, MOT expires on the 16/12/09 and is taxed until the end of December 09.

After many questions about the work that needs doing for the MOT, this is what I was told my my local mechanic,

Excessive play in the steering.

play in the rear wheel bearings.

Front shocks need replacing.

One tyre has cracking on the sidewall and will need replacing.

Not MOT related, it is difficult to start on a cold morning(glow plugs?) but once running is fine, I don`t need the car so am not willing to spend any money on it.

As of this morning the car refuses to start at all, so anyone who has bid on this and wishes to retract their bid please contact me and I will be happy to do this for you, if anyone still wants it be aware that it will need to be towed away, many thanks.
