VINTAGE PENELOPE COMPLETED TAPESTRY  

 

DUTCH INTERIOR

B3922

21 X 17 ins

53.5 X 44.5 cms

This is a completed vintage tapestry panel and originally used as a firescreen.

It appears in a Penelope catalogue fron 1955, and would have cost £1 17shillings & 11pence!

There are some stains on the left over canvas but stitching seems unmarked.

The design has been worked in neatly in tent stitch and would make a great picture.
