clarice cliff ' RARE FOOTBALL 372 SHAPE VASE' C.1930

A very rare and unique to date 372 shaped vase in the football design, this vase would date to 1930 and is a fanatstic example of this pattern, the vase shows the complete design in the four panels with the net rising in each panel, it also has the floating black squares which you only see on a few pieces, most flatware or teaware does not have this extra addition to the design. This is only one of no more than maybe 10/15  vases that exist in this pattern. Condition, the vase has restoration to the banded top section the patterned areas are fine and are in original condition, the base carries an early rubber stamp mark for 1929/early 1930.
