this is a pot  with a lid which has had gentlemans relish in it on the lid is a picture of a partridge 2" deep 4" across inside the lid it says especially commissioned by elsenham quality foods limited bishops stortford herts as a container for the gentlemans relish (patum peperium) dont know if it is old or not unfotunatly there is a couple of grazes inside on the rim which you cant see when the lid is on i have tried to show this in the photo
