c1850 'Townsend's Modes de Paris Fashion Plate

Description**PLEASE VISIT MY EBAY SHOP FOR OTHER SIMILAR FASHION ITEMS** A gorgeous ORIGINAL sepia engraved plate, which comes, I think from 'Townsends' Modes de Paris' circa 1850. I really would recommend this print very highly, if you are a fan of Victorian era costume.
A very large and very beautiful plate with the fashions arranged in two tiers, as was always the case with Townsend's. The top caption reads 'London and Paris' and the ladies and children appear to be walking near L'Arc de Triomphe. The caption at the bottom is almost completely missing.
Condition: good, with a little offsetting and browning. Tiny bend to one corner.However, this is a really strong impression and the fashions are delightful.
Measures approx: 11." x 8", so a good size.
