This poster comes from an incomplete portfolio dedicated to Eduardo Muñoz Bachs. If you are familiar with cuban posters you probably know he was one of the most famous and prolifics artists of their poster- making industry.These portfolios were sold for a limited time at the 26th International Festival of the New Latin American Cinema celebrated in Havana from Dec 7-17, 2004. The portfolios consisted of 50 posters made by Bachs during his career with the ICAIC (Cuban Institute of Art and Cinema) and their logo is printed in the back of all of them. Under the image is printed the year the original poster was made. These enhanced images, beautifully cleaned and restored are printed in 13x19 inches (33x48cm) thick smooth type stock paper with a smooth clay type of finish. According to ICAIC this process is call Giclée and I found that is a French term meaning "spray of paint." Each Giclée reproduction is made with the finest archival inks and is printed on thick matte acid free paper.

IMPORTANT: Although this poster is a reproduction from the original, it is NOT a cheap print on digital photographic paper. It is a very stunning 13x19 inches (33x48cm) image that can be either collected as art or framed to hang on your walls. I am sure they will be a nice piece of conversation for family and friends.
