basket case - ie professionally stripped - post 74 solid fuel Aga with DON gas conversion for natural gas. Brown vitreous enamel.
This cooker can stay gas or could be re-verted to solid fuel

As a professional Aga man - MD of Snughome Cookers, the makers of the oil Snugburner - this cooker is surplus to our needs and taking up space along with others!
It can be collected from our Wrexham area works ( Penley LL13 0LQ) or we can deliver for £1 a mile one way.If you want to collect a Transit size van or trailer will be needed.

The cooker was taking out by myself and is in working order.If you wish to revert it to solid fuel then a new smoke box would be needed, plus grate, carrier and ash can , inner door etc which can be purchased on our agafixspares website
To answer a few BASIC questions!
size 39" wide, 27" deep, 33" high.Weight about 700lbs - 400 kilos - needs NON COMBUSTABLE base to sit on
No Agas can NEVER burn wood - only smokeless fuel.Why? Its a SLOW COMBUSTION device- all gases pass though a hole less than 20mm square
NO it wont heat rads.If your hot water cylinder will take a GRAVITY FLOW (big coil type) and is withing 21ft of the Aga then it can heat water but requires 2 x 28mm ( i") floow nad reyurn pipes that run UPHILL ALL THE WAY to the cylinder.It cannot connect to an existing central heating system, nor a combi system.Ask a plumber for a survey if you are a serious bidder!
Yes it needs a full height chimney - should get planning- expect £1000 for a complete flue minimum as it has to take 1000 degree heat by LAW to burn coal/ £300 minumum for a gas flue (same height) !
If you want to go back to coal it will cost you +£300 for grates,ash can, etc

We will supply this cooker with correct gaskets, insulation and our E books on "dismantling ^ re-assembling the Aga

A: Not quite- it needs a flue box and shroud but I am sure we could find asecond hand set of those for you - and a wick burner
