Zoroastrian Farohar Silver Carnelian Pendant
A very rare and old Persian pendant engraved on carnelian with a silver rim and link. The pendant is very old and had a fine crack which has been fully repaired but the line is still visible. The pendant is 4.5 cm in diameter and 23g in weight. The rim is Silver (925). The Farohar or Faravahar is a Zoroastrian guardian spirit and an emblem of the Zoroastrian religion.
