For your consideration is the shown Zenith Royal 3000-1 Shortwave Radio. Comes with the AC Adapter, Service Manual, Operating Guide and Brochure. I plugged in the AC adapter and the unit appears to function correctly. The dials work and the unit received on all bands. The band selector has some snap, crackle and pop when changing between bands. The antenna looks straight. The battery compartment looks clean. I don't know if there should be a dial light - but there is not one working. The piece that goes over then band area comes off the radio - the pieces on the bottom of this are borken - see picture 7. The release button does not hold the front panel tightly in place. I can't tell if there is a sway in the top metal piece (the piece that surround the Release button) or this is is how the radio should be - I say this because the black back piece has a little gap between it and the metal - I think you can see what I am talking about in picture 8. I noticed that the 'leatherette' cover was coming loose in the corners on the panels. Measures approx 12.5" wide x 5.5" deep x 10.25" tall (to the top of the handle) Please let me know if you have any questions and/or need additional pictures. Check out my other items!
