ZX Spectrum Hardware:
Kelwood Sound Base Add-on

You are bidding on what is shown in the photo to the left.

This is the Kelwood Sound Base add-on for the ZX Spectrum. Very little seems to be known about this item. From what I can gather, it was a Sound Amplifer with extra features for the ZX Spectrum.

Here is the information from World Of Spectrum:

Name: Kelwood Sound Base
Manufacturer: Kelwood Computer Cases
Year: 1983
Blurb: All features of the Kelwood Power Base (On/Off switch. Load/Save switch. Angled case) but with built in variable sound amplifier.

Down the side of the unit is a Switch labels 'Save' on one side and 'Run, Load, Verify' down the other.
On the back is what appears to be a volume dial and various audio cables plus a power cable.

There is no power supply provided with this unit, nor is it's recommended voltage known.

This item comes as seen and untested (as I no longer own a ZX Spectrum).

The item is in average condition. There is left over adhesive pads in each corner from where the previous owner's Spectrum was stuck in place.
