ZINNIA "Dahlia Mix" 150 Seeds One of the best and brightest Zinnias producing huge fully double 4 to 5 inch blooms in a dozen bright colours. Contains coral, crimson, salmon-rose, scarlet, red, rose, lilac, pink, purple, orange, yellow, and white blooms. This mix offers eye catching dahlia-flowered blooms at the end of very long and strong stems. The waxy, tightly-packed petals create a pompon bloom that is dotted by a cheerful greenish-yellow central eye. · · Sow thinly under-cover 4-6 weeks in good quality seed compost prior to the last frost at 70F. Lightlycover with soil and keep moist. · Germination in 5 -10 days. · Can be sown outdoors in well drained soil after the last frost, but seedlings will need protection from pests. · When large enough to handle thin & transplant to trays and grow on under cooler conditions. · For bushier growth, pinch back young plants. · Feed monthly. · Remove faded blossoms to prolong flowering. Germination IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - Please note seed is a live product which depends on many important related grower skills such as proper planting time, seed depth, type of soil, watering, proper use of fertilizers, weed controls, fungicides, insecticides, disease free soil, and reasonable weather conditions during the growing period. Germination is affected by such factors as temperature, moisture content, light intensity and contamination of planting media. Although we do everything possible to get seeds to you in the best possible condition far exceeding legal requirements and will provide as much help as possible, these factors are totally outside of our control and once you receive the seeds its over to you. Consequently, we can take no responsibility for the suitability to your local conditions of any variety offered, the indicative cultivation advice provided or ultimately the varieties performance.
