In the stillness of a small room that was rented out to us by our local city council, a story began that would transform into one of the largest, most competitive online retailers.
Starting from our humble beginning on 2nd March 2004. Our aim was a simple two-fold yet challenging task, to which we were and still are achieving today. That challenge is to become the largest online retailer of books, and to provide the best quality service to our customers in delivery and correspondence that is second to none. We have expanded greatly over the course of five years and now we have 5 warehouses in the UK plus access to some of the biggest suppliers of books in the world. Worldwide dispatch is no problem for us, from California in the United States, to Wellington in New Zealand. On the eve of our fifth birthday our new website was launched to provide an improved and simplified quality of service that is more straightforward for us and for our customers.
VAST RANGE OF STOCK We have access to over 2,000,000 books and audio books on a vast range of topics from science, to sport, to religion and art. Many are unique or rare titles that are not available with many online sellers elsewhere. So rest assured we have something for everyone.

Shipping
Normally we process our orders within 24 hours. The orders go into our warehouse to be picked, packed and where appropriate consolidated into one parcel. If a title is out of stock or not immediately available, we keep our customers updated and informed. Our delivery times from dispatch are as follows: UK delivery: 2-5 Working Days European Union and USA: 3-7 Working Days (We use the fast priority air mail service on all our international destination parcels) All other worldwide Destinations: 5- 14 Working Days.
These delivery times are the maximum delivery periods that a purchase can take to reach our customers. Delivery may be sooner than this. Please note that where applicable, customs point clearance may affect the delivery of an order and cause a delay. This is a factor that is not in our control. You will receive a confirmation email once the item is actually shipped out.
Terms
The buyer is hereby notified that all or any portion of the information he or she may provide to Bangzo World will be used for internal purposes only.
For phone sales, credit card details will not be stored by us and we do not reveal any portion of your information, except to complete transactions with Ebay/PayPal. We do not sell or rent our customer information to any outside party under any circumstances. In order to process your order we require our merchant PAYPAL to collect some information from you. We need your name and address to know where to send your order and your credit card details, number and expiry date to obtain payment for goods you have ordered. The telephone number and e-mail address is to enable us to contact you should there be any problem with your order. Customer information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1984.
The information you enter i.e. name, address, telephone number, email address is made available to us by PAYPAL at their server to enable us to complete your orders. We do not get or see any information about your credit card from From PayPal if you check out via eBAY. In the event that an item is damaged, it is the buyer’s responsibility to contact us within 7 days of receiving the order. A replacement shall be offered or a full refund if the item is returned to us, if the replacement is not available. The buyer shall be advised on how to return the item without having to pay return postage.

The item is not as described: The buyer must contact Bangzo World within 7 working days of receiving the purchase. Bangzo World contact details can be located on our “CONTACT US” page. Bangzo World shall then arrange to locate a replacement to dispatch to the buyer. Delivery times to send the replacement can be found on our delivery time’s section. If a replacement is not available, then the buyer shall be notified that a replacement item is not available and a refund shall be issued once the item is returned. The buyer is not required to pay return postage. The buyer shall be instructed on how to return the item without paying postage.
The buyer wants to return the item for a refund and the item is as described: If the order is fulfilled correctly and the item is as described, then the buyer is required to return the item to the postal address that is noted in our “CONTACT US” page for a refund to be issued. Bangzo World will not pay any of the postage cost that the buyer incurs to return the item and any postage cost that was paid originally shall be EXCLUDED from the amount that is refunded.
