York CO3028 Preference Cornet in Silver Plate

This Bb cornet (serial number 502367) is brand new and being offered at a reduced price as an ex-demonstrator model. This will have been out of the case for an exhibition, or to take photographs, or for a magazine to write a review etc. It will be in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition and it is impossible to tell it apart from a cornet at the higher (new) price. The current new price in our showroom is £1,465.00.

The instrument is styled on the Besson Sovereign, and indeed the York factory in Germany produced the Besson Sovereign prior to the demise of the Besson brand in December 2005. The Besson Sovereign is now being produced in the Courtois factory in France and sells for £1700 in the UK, the York models have been the most popular model in our showroom as they continue the tradition of that true Besson sound. 

The instrument will arrive in perfect working condition and has been checked, and set-up by our technicians. It is supplied with a 12 month mechanical and cosmetic warranty, but is in perfect cosmetic condition now.   

It is supplied with the orignal York hard case, factory paperwork, silver cloth, and Wick mouthpiece.

If on initial inspection if you are disappointed in any way, and return it, you will receive a refund. If it fails mechanically within 12 months you may return it for a full refund, or repair (at your discretion).

It will be well packed before shipping and sent Business Post courier (inland UK only) for £12 and will require a signature on delivery (next day service). I will contact you first to establish what days someone will be there to sign for the parcel. Collection in person can be arranged. Delivery for non-inland UK (e.g. Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands) is £25.

This item will be sent to most European countries (door to door) on Business Post Euroroad for £50, and to the USA for around  £200 via carrier an insured basis (USA price to be confirmed after sale and is dependent on location).
