Yamaha YEB201 Eb Tuba (Lacquer)

This Eb Tuba, serial number 359032, is 3 years old. It was purchased from one of our customers who's child is no longer playing tuba. They originally purchased it (brand new) from a specialist retailer in Nottingham. 

The instrument is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, and blows very well. It is without significant dents or dings and the lacquer is intact; on initial inspection it will appear brand new, but if you look closely you will see some scratches and small patches of wear on the bottom bow, and there are two very tiny dings on the 1st branch - too small to be removed by our technicians. 

The valves and slides are as new; the instrument has many years playing remaining - a well made model like this should last 30 years.

The original hard case is in good condition, and the strap and wheels are in good order. The hinges and locks are fine. The outside is a little scuffed.

It is supplied with the original owners manual and lacquer cloth. The original Yamaha mouthpiece has been upgraded to a Denis wick 5L (modern version). 

It has been checked by our experienced technicians and is in perfect mechanical working order. It is supplied with a 6- month mechanical warranty, but without cosmetic warranty (as is normal with used items).

For reference, the product sells new in the UK between £2,600 and £2900.

If on initial inspection if you are disappointed in any way, and return it, you will receive a full refund. If it fails mechanically within 6 months you may return it for a full refund, or repair (at your discretion).

It will be well packed before shipping and sent Business Post courier (inland UK only) for £25 and will require a signature on delivery (next day service). I will contact you first to establish what days someone will be there to sign for the parcel. Collection in person can be arranged. Delivery for non-inland UK (e.g. Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands) is £60.
