Yamaha RX-V550 Home Cinema Amp

You are bidding on my 5.1 home cinema amp, that I have used lovingly for the last few years.

It is in excellent condition. There's the occasional mark on the case, in keeping with it being in a hi-fi 'stack', but otherwise it is spotless.

I am selling as it doesn't fit in our TV cabinet, and it is another 'victim' of being sold as part of a tidy-up before we have our first child in December!

It is incredibly powerful (90 watts per channel), and I don't think we've ever needed to turn it up higher than about 1/3rd (and I like music/film to be loud!)

It is perfect for managing all your audio visual equipment - one press on the remote selects the audio/video source. I can't find the manual at the moment, but I can provide you with the PDF manual on a CD or via the internet - which is more useful anyway. (This manual provides all the codes that allow you to program the remote to control your different AV equipment).

It is pretty heavy, so local pick-up is my preferred option. I can look into shipping, but it is likely to cost £15+ and I will need a few days to make arrangements.
