This auction is for this this vintage Yamaha PortaSound, PSS-170, portable electronic keyboard from the 1980's. Serial no. 086412.
This is a great old keyboard filled with those funky retro 80's sounds. The rhythm section features 10 built in rhythms, there are 100 different voices.
This keyboard is over 24 inches end to end, it has 44 keys and so is not full sized but has ample range for plenty of fun sounds from this funky old keyboard.
I have tested this item and it works fine, all the keys appear fine and the various sounds and effects and rhythm selections seem ok. The keyboard has a 9-12v dc in socket or can be played with batteries. There is a battery compartment underneath which is clean and free from leakage AND has its cover in place and holds 6 X "C" batteries. I have only tested this using a DC adapter, I have not tried batteries simply because I do not have any this size, it probably works fine but I do not want to buy batteries just to test this.
The keyboard is in REALLY nice, clean condition. There are NO dings or bashes, no cracks or breaks to the plastics and it has no wear, it has hardly been used. The keyboard comes withits original box, original instruction manual, owners guide and another keyboard book.
