This listing is for a Yamaha DSP-E580 Dolby Pro-Logic/Yamaha Cinema DSP Surround Sound Processor. The unit dates from 1994, so if you are after the state of the art in home cinema, you will need to look elsewhere.

Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition, with no marks, scratches, dings, dents, or other blemishes on the case. It comes in it's original box and packaging with remote, manual, and even the original sales receipt (this cost £450 when new)  

I am selling on behalf of my brother, who assures me it is in good working order. However, it is being sold ‘as is’ with no guarantees and I will not accept returns.

Cash on collection is the preferred way of the buyer taking possession (Paypal is not preferred due to problems with my Paypal account).

However, I will post if needed. Postage to anywhere in the UK mainland (which is the only place I will ship to), tracked is £20. Note that because the unit is in it's original packaging, I cannot accept any responsibility for any damage if the unit isn't collected in person.

I may be able to deliver or meet halfway for my petrol costs within a reasonable distance, by negotiation with the buyer.

And now, my terms and conditions.  I don't like to have these, but it has become necessary for various reasons, and following them will make the sale as easy as possible for buyer and seller. Please read carefully and please DO NOT BUY if you do not agree to abide by them:

1) The winning bidder MUST make contact by phone with me within 48 hours of the auction ending. This is only the initial contact, and not the collection of the item. My number will be supplied to the winning bidder shortly after the auction end.

2) Please DO NOT pay for the item before you have spoken to me. I would prefer payment by the winning bidder to be either cash-on-collection,  or bank transfer. Paypal is not preferred, due to problems with my account 

3) Collection in person is preferred for the reasons stated in the listing, but I am happy to send anywhere in the UK for £20 (by tracked and insured courier) in addition to the winning bid. Any other delivery methods are not possible  - tracking numbers will be supplied to the purchaser when the unit is despatched. While I will take every precaution when packing, I cannot accept any responsibility for any damage that might occur in transit. I may deliver or meet halfway for petrol costs (by negotiation). I will not, under any circumstances, send outside the UK mainland, so please do not ask me to as you will be ignored.

This includes Ireland, Italy, Bulgaria, Israel, Hong Kong, Siberia, Outer and Inner Mongolia, and anywhere else which is outside UK

4) As hinted at above, UK buyers only please. By which I mean please don’t buy unless you are a UK resident and have a UK bank account

5) Scammers, please do not waste your time or mine. I am wise to all of the tricks.

7) My feedback is quite low because I have not sold many items via ebay, and no other reason. As you will see, all my feedback is 100% positive, and I wish to keep it that way. I try to describe the item as accurately and honestly as I can, so you can bid with confidence that I will not 'mess you around'
