Boxed YAESU FT-60E VHF / UHF (144 / 430 MHz) FM Dual band Transceiver.

Hi and welcome to my auction. The item on offer is a YAESU FT-60E VHF / UHF dual band Transceiver. This was purchased a while ago by my brother, but has since become redundant due to new equipment.

The new Yaesu FT-60E is a great handset, covering 2 meters and 70 cm (144 / 430 MHz) for transmit and having an extensive wide band receive facility going from 108 - 520 MHz / 700 to 999.999 MHz.

The output side of the transceiver has a full 5 Watts available, or it can be reduced via the menus. The handset is fitted with a large, backlit, easy to read LCD display giving all of the information you require in one place, plus easy to use controls and keypad for function control and frequency input. The radio comes with a high capacity FNB-83 Ni-MH long life battery (7.2v 1400 mAh) and mains charger. It is fitted with its supplied standard antenna and has a wrist strap fitted via the belt clip. This offering from Yaesu also has its new Emergency automatic ID system built in. Large range of functions available through the menu system, user programmable memory and function keys.

There is even a password feature to prevent unauthorised use of your radio. Radio to radio cloning is possible with the optional CT-27 cable (not supplied in this sale). Other refinements include: One touch NOAA weather (US only), nine DTMF auto dialler memories, die-cast weather resistant case, ARTS Auto-range transponder system. There is also a Mono-band and Memory-only operating mode.

This radio is used and has a few small marks on the casing. The only one of note is shown in the photos below (upper - rear right hand corner) - there are also a few small marks on the antenna and a slight scratch on the LCD screen. These do not take from the radio in any way and it functions perfectly in every way. Please see the photos below. These are of the actual item for sale.

Supplied in its original box with manual, charger etc and even complete with its supplied 'YEASU' sticker! The manual has been used and had a little wear (as do most transceiver manuals) - but is intact.

This was bought for £189 from Martin Lynch & Sons. Ideal radio for those on the move or indeed a fantastic first transceiver for foundation licensees.

OK, the boring bit - I'm not a business - I do this for fun. I sell my old things and things for my immediate family - so my terms are simple - Please pay within 7 days, or at least contact me to let me know if you cant, so we both know what is going on and can make arrangements. I'm happy to take cheques, Postal orders, cash (by registered post only - for your safety) or paypal from buyer in the UK - HOWEVER - outside of the UK - paypal only please. I don't send items until cheques (including paypal 'echeques') clear - sorry and please allow up to 7 working days - more for echeques.

I do my best to post on the day of payment, but sometimes this is not possible and it may take a few days due to work, family commitments etc. I will let you know if this happens. Normally I post items via 1st class recorded mail. If the value is higher, I will list Special Delivery as the postage option so we are both covered. Mail outside the UK will be by airmail or surface mail. Sorry, I don't refund for any charges or import taxes charged for the item coming into your country, or if something is stopped as its 'not legal'.

Lost in post - Glad to help out in any way I can - please remember, the post office can take a while to do its stuff and wont even consider an item as missing for 15 working days. A full copy of all receipts and Recorded Delivery slips are available if you require them. Happy to take returns within 7 days of receipt on most things unless I've stated its for spares or sold as seen in my advert - I don't take returns if you 'bought the wrong thing' - only if its not as described. IMPORTANT - returns by PRIOR arrangement ONLY! Sorry - I wont refund unless an item is returned to me AND I have received it in the same condition it was sent - (recorded post so it can be tracked and with decent packing please).
