The 2005 Yamaha R6 might have looked the same as the 2004 model, but under the skin

the changes were vast. The frame and swinging arm internal structures were improved to

increase rigidity and the new inverted forks had a stronger axle clamp. The front brakes

featured radial mount calipers and 310mm discs.

At this time Yamaha introduced a limited edition (2000 bikes worldwide) YZF-R46 Rossi

machine to commemorate Yamaha's 50th Anniversary and Valentino Rossi's race wins

and victory in the 2004 World Championship.

All the Rossi R46's were supplied with a standard exhaust and a Termignoni silencer

which is currently fitted to the bike. 

The machine we have for sale (No.1724 of the 2000) was registered in March 2007 and

therefore benefits from the remainder of Yamaha's warranty (till March 2009). It is a one

owner machine in as new condition which has only covered 1223 miles from new.

The machine has received its initial service and will be serviced and checked prior to

its sale. A lovely collectable bike of the future.
