I am the 2nd owner of this bike, the 1st was John Lee Motorcycles. He broughtthe bike for his son to race, it was used in 2 races,because John Lee is a honda dealer and was sponsered by honda he had to have a honda instead of a yamah, because of the sponsership. I purchased the bike in August 2006 and the bike was immaculate. Ihave used the bike 3 or 4 times,I came off the bike abd hurt my knee pretty bad. I lost my confidence and admit it is too powerful for me. Prior to buying this 250 I had a Yamaha 125 and the difference in power between the 125 and 250 is phenoninal. The other reason for sale is that I have recently passed my driving test and want to bu a good car. The bike has apower valve damper as you can probably tell from the pictures, it is supposed to stop the power valve coming in too harsh but is still incredibly quick. The bike when new came with a piston for the 1st piston changefrom the dealers, this is still in the box. I haven't raced the bike myself and I imagine that the engine is just about run in.
