Professional model piccolo, Grenadilla wooden headjoint & body, Nickel silver (silver-plated) keys, with split E mechanism. This has long been a favourite of professional musicians and can be found in many top orchestras. Characterised by excellent intonation and playability, it features a headjoint and body of carefully seasoned grenadilla for a warm full tone.

This is a beautiful piccolo and I am very sad that it has finally come to the time for me to sell it. I got this piccolo when I was working towards Grade 5 on my flute and it made a wonderful difference! It is such a beautiful instrument just to look at and the sound is fantastic. It has the control to play with a beautiful mellow sound when playing solo, or in a duet, but also had the power to so soar over an entire orchestra!

The Piccolo itself is in excellent condition and has always been well looked after. All the pads and the mechanics for the keys are in excellent working order and the joint is smooth and makes for easy tuning. There is a tiny amount of wear that is to be expected from a used piccolo – slight discolouration of some of the inner rods – but this is only visible under close examination.

The piccolo comes in its original hard case with a small pot of cork grease and a metal cleaning rod. The case has a very small scratch on the underside, but not visible unless upside down and otherwise is in perfect condition.

This is a beautiful piccolo that would make a wonderful addition to the skills of a flute player looking to enhance their potential. This piccolo has a current retail value of around £1000, so get yourself this excellently maintained and cared for piccolo at a fraction of the cost before it is gone!
