DESCRIPTION

Our Reclaimed Railway Sleepers are a cheap, economical alternative to new sleepers.  Most have good, clean and square edges/faces and are very strong and robust.  These sleepers are very durable but may contain some splits and cracks offering character and that desired rustic look.  They have numerous uses* including:

•           Garden edging / raised flower beds

•           Steps

•           Small bridges

•           Soil retaining walls

•           Supports for sheds, green houses, porta cabins etc…

*Note: Our reclaimed sleepers contain creosote.  They CAN be used in parks, gardens, and outdoor recreational and leisure facilities but only if there is no risk of frequent skin contact. They must not be used inside buildings, whatever their purposes; in toys; in playgrounds and for garden furniture such as picnic tables.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require more information on this.

Buyers can either collect (by appointment) from our yard near Chorley in Lancashire or we can deliver:

Greater than 30 miles? Please provide us with your post code, timber size and quantity so we can calculate you a 'delivered' price.

Delivery throughout the North West is usually made within a few days.

Sleepers are very heavy and require 2 people to handle them.  Please therefore ensure another person is available to help unload.  We deliver to roadside location.

PAYMENT

Listed prices on EBay include VAT

Delivery is calculated at cost and added to the final winning bid.

Please do not bid unless you have agreed to the delivery costs.

We accept both debit and credit cards for payment.

Cheques need to be cleared before we can despatch to you.
