What temperature rating of magnet is being used?
Surely the competition wouldn't use the cheap low temperature ones that lose magnetism above 79 Degrees C would they? Sure they do...
This rating is absolutely critical as otherwise the particles are dropped into your oil every time it gets hot. Great eh?

Drain plug magnets keep on attracting metal particles @ an astounding 42MGO's (magnetic strength) to in excess of 170 Degrees C.
A regular grade N neodymium looses magnetism at 79 Degrees C and often dumps all the swarf back into the oil! (What use is that in your engine?)
