Fox's entry level F14-650 1/2" capacity morticer takes away the arduous tedium from repetitive hand morticing. Constructed to a surprisingly high standard in spite of an exceptionally modest market price, it features a range of top quality features including a solid cast iron body, a smooth induction motor and a gas filled head stabiliser for even, judder-free feeds.

The headstock glides up and down on a rack and pinion system with a maximum travel of 127mm, operated via a steel bar handle for optimum control. Morticing chisels up to 1/2" x 1/2" (12.7mm x 12.7mm) can be accommodated, giving scope for furniture making projects and other demanding joinery applications. A sacrificial MDF subbase offers protection against chisel damage whilst through morticing, and a micro adjustable cast iron rear fence and hold down ensure on maximum timber support. Featuring an NVR safety switch, the F14-650 fully complies with the latest safety regulations. Supplied with 1/2" chisel and bit as standard.
