Is VAT inclusive in the price?
All prices published are in pounds
sterling and are inclusive of European Union sales tax at the
prevailing rate, 15%.
How can I pay?
Payment can be made by any Paypal, UK
Sterling cheque or UK Sterling Postal Order.
Payment will be debited and cleared from
your account before the despatch of your Goods or provision of
service to you.
Delivery - Customer Responsibility
It is the customers responsibility to
ensure the delivery address given is accurate. If the order is
sent to an incorrect address, given by the customer, the
customer will be charged for the collection and return delivery
of that order. If the customer wishes the item to be resent to a
different address, the customer will be charged again for the
outbound delivery.
Recycled Packaging
Wherever possible, The Bedford Collection
aims to recycle all waste. We are also trying to make it easier
for you to also recycle at home, please recycle all delivery
packaging responsibility.

Collection Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with your
purchase for any reason, please inform us immediately via
e-mail.
Returns due to Unsuitability
If you wish to return an item due to
unsuitability, you must do so within 14 days of receipt. Please
return the item in perfect, unused condition, with the original
packaging and a copy of the invoice.
We do stress that when returning an item,
it is strongly recommended that you obtain proof of posting. We
cannot accept responsibility for parcels or cufflinks
lost/damaged in transit and can only refund or offer a credit
note once the item is received back to us in perfect condition.
Once the item has been checked by us, you will be refunded,
directly back into your paypal account, or via bank transfer
within 14 working days.
Cancellations
The Consumer Protection
(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
Contracts for the purchase of goods by a
Customer not acting in the course of a business and made over
the telephone or through the ebay.co.uk/bedfordcollection,
with the exception of certain excepted contracts, subject to The
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (“the
Regulations”).
Customers may cancel goods purchased from
ebay.co.uk/bedfordcollection by sending a
written notice of cancellation by E-mail.
The notice of cancellation must be
delivered within 7 working days of the date of delivery of the
goods.
The Customer will be responsible for the
cost of returning the goods if he or she exercises this right of
cancellation under the Regulations. If the Customer does not
actually return the goods to ebay.co.uk/bedfordcollection,
the Customer is under a duty to make the goods available for
collection at the Customer’s expense from the address to which
they were delivered.
The Customer is under a duty to retain
possession of the goods whilst awaiting return to
ebay.co.uk/bedfordcollection and to take reasonable
care of them during this period. The Customer will be liable for
any loss of or damage to the goods if he or she fails to comply
with this obligation.
Faulty/Damaged
items
Notification of damages, shortages and
faults must be sent within 24 hours of delivery via e-mail.
The item must be returned with all
original packaging and invoice, within 7 days.
Please note that we may request
photographs to be sent, via e-mail, of any alleged defects so
that we may assess the situation, prior to refunding/replacing
an item.
Once we are in receipt of the returned
item, we will aim to dispatch a replacement where possible, or
offer a full refund or credit note within 5 working days on
receipt of the item.

Colours
We have made every effort to display as
accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear
on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will
depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your
monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.
Availability
Many of our featured items are selected
in limited quantities and, because of their limited
availability, their stock cannot always be refreshed.
When an item featured on the site is no longer in stock, you
will see an out of stock marker next to the item. Should you
have any questions concerning the availability of a particular
item, please contact us via e-mail.

warrant that the function or operation of this website will be
uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected,
or that this site or the server that makes it available will
be free of viruses or other harmful elements. As a visitor to

for any costs associated with the servicing of equipment used
in connection with the use of our website. As a visitor to and
a user of this website, you, in effect, agree that your access
will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this
notice and that access is undertaken at your own risk. The

related to your use of or inability to access this website.
