PACKAGING: I use used boxes and fluff.  I often turn the box inside out in order to make it look new or to reduce previous labeling.  I do this because I care about the planet.  I am not a global warmest, I have been saving water and turning out lights and pre-cycling long before Al Gore knew there was a problem.  I just care about the planet and all who live here and my future generations having a clean place to live - heck, just having a place to live myself.  Therefore, I recycle when I can.  If you do not like clean used boxes please do not bid on my stuff.  

HANDLING FEE: I also charge a handling fee.  Usually $2 depending on the complexity of the wrapping (a set of china is a lot different from a book).  I do this because I give up One whole day a week to wrap packages and many evenings as well, I search for boxes, pack them out to my truck, and into my house, break them down or turn them inside out and if you think I am getting something for nothing I am not.  I also pick up bags of packaging material from stores who are happy for me to take it, and I do a careful job making sure your purchase will get to you safely. 

When you place your order, please take into consideration the final cost of the item ~ the purchase price plus the $2 handling fee plus the cost of the calculated postage from my house to yours ~ and make your decision based on that.  If you do not consider that a fair price then please purchase from another vendor.  If you are patient, you will always find what you are looking for on EBay.  That's the cool thing about it.

If you do purchase from me don't leave low feedback ratings for cost of postage.  I charge what they charge. 

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: If you are an international buyer I will figure your postage individually depending on where you live.  Please write before auction end so that I can give you postage to your country.  International postage can be costly.  Anything less than 4 pounds can ship for First Class.  The problem with First Class is that you cannot insure it.  I am happy to ship Priority with any weight but anything over 4 pounds will have to go Priority. 

SHIPPING: I ship on Tuesday and Friday if payment is made by the previous day.  In order to ship by Tuesday I must receive payment by Monday at 3pm.  In order to ship by Friday I must receive payment by Thursday at 3pm.  I would like to ship every day but it isn't practical.  However, If you need something right away I will ship it right away.

TIMELINE: When I ship, you will receive a letter from PayPal.  Please do not contact me until 14 days from that date if you get nervous about your items whereabouts.  If I said I shipped it I did - and I will not be able to know anymore than you.  If your item does not arrive by an appropriate time, I will contact the post office and file the appropriate forms.  The post office will not even talk to me until 14 business days have passed so please, be patient.  It will arrive.  Of course, if the package was not insured the post office won’t do much.

I used to think it was silly when sellers wrote lots of stuff in their ads.  I guess you just get this way after a few sales.  Sorry.  Problem is, non paying bidders don't read this stuff.
