William IV Antique Mahogany Rectangular Dining Table

This beautiful antique William IV mahogany tilt top dining table ca 1835 has a rectangular solid mahogany top which tilts and has its original brass banjo catch. The piece stands on a beautiful turned central pedestal with a fluted base, quadriform platform and four beautifully turned feet with sunken brass castors. The piece is a rich mellow medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
