William Bateman Georgian Sterling Silver Wine Funnel Made at the Bunhill Row Workshop, London, in 1822. A Large Georgian Sterling Silver Wine Funnel. Made in London, in 1822, by William Bateman. In two parts, the top with a gadrooned rim. A discreet pattern in the piercing. Fully functional. Crested to the front with a lion. Condition: The Marks: To the body they are a little rubbed, all readable. To the top they are rubbed. The Funnel: Fair. Still in Working Order. To splits to the end of the spout. Both parts dented. Possible repair where the tang is. Top doesn't quite sit properly on the body. Hallmarks:
