3 Yards of Wide Brocade Trim

From Heritage Trading Company

This type of metallic, jacquard trim is traditionally woven in the Indian city of Benares. Called "zari" or "Banarsi brocade," it’s used to trim the most luxurious saris.

 

 

Important note about edges:  This is a fabric, not ribbon, border.  The edges have been serged, but you may find a few spots where this was done unevenly--see final photo above for example.  You may want to plan on turning the edges under for a slightly narrower, but more finished trim.  Nevertheless, we're confident that you'll find this wide border to be lovely and an excellent value.

  Approximate Width:   3¼ Inches.  8.5 Centimeters.
