The Whippet…never has there been a time in the artist’s life that he has not had canine companionship and a great appreciation for all breeds has developed over the years. The Whippet, with its sweet disposition, takes center stage when it comes to streamlined elegance. From its long, slender muzzle to the end of its rudder like tail, speed and grace are defined by this sculpture. The artist uses 24K gold to create the vivid rainbow of colors and further emphasize the traits of this charismatic animal. This application of pure gold to molten glass has been perfected by Prochaska Galleries and represents a colorful new dimension in glass sculpture. Whippet measures approximately 3.5 inches long, stands 2.5 inches tall and is made entirely of hand blown borosilicate crystal. This charming dog will make a wonderful addition to your kennel. Your purchase includes an attractive information card trimmed with gold foil. Safe Shipping Guarantee
Safe arrival and your complete satisfaction are always guaranteed. Extraordinary care is taken to insure the safe arrival of your blown glass figurine. We use a three-step process that has resulted in the safe shipment of thousands of Prochaska Galleries sculptures over the past 30 years.
Step 1: As it is being made, the glass blower takes special care to reinforce all stress points to help protect against shock damage. Additionally all natural stresses are removed from the glass by a high temperature tempering process called annealing.
Step 2: After the figurine is removed from our annealing oven it is thoroughly inspected by the artist who makes certain that all internal stresses have been removed from the glass and that its surfaces have been properly vitrified.
Step 3: Finally, it’s time for careful packaging in not one, but two cartons. Both are filled with shock absorption materials. The sculpture itself is firmly held in place inside the internal carton so as to prevent movement. Loose fill between the two cartons guards against shock and the external box protects against obvious damage.
Our Guarantee: If for any reason you are unhappy with the quality of any piece of art from Prochaska Galleries, simply return it for a full refund or replacement, customer's choice.
