This book is one of the “Where I Live” series, and is about the life of farmer Eirwen Foulkes and her family in Penmynydd, Anglesey.  

The “Where I Live” series looks at society today by focusing on six distinct communities around Britain.  Each book uses a local person to guide the reader around the community.  A vivid picture is built up of what it is like to live there – the housing, schools, recreation, shops, services, job opportunities and work patterns.  The books enable the reader to compare and contrast life in his it her own community with others around Britain.  The series serves as a vital resource for the Geography National Curriculum.
