This is an original, late nineteenth century, etching.
Drawn: Mark Fisher and J. D. Watson
Etched: C. O. Murray
Title: "When The Kye Come Hame"
This was published in London, for 'The Art Journal' and is undated, however we believe that it was published circa 1881.
The overall size is approx, 540 x 370 mm.
The overall size of the image is approx, 245 x 160 mm.
The etching has been tipped onto a larger piece of thick card. The edges of the card are generally a little chipped and browned with age, with 1 small tear and 2 small areas of loss to the corners. These slight imperfections only affect the thicker card. The paper that the etching is on, is crisp, clean and in very good condition.
Overall the image is crisp, clean and in good condition. This will look very good, when mounted and framed.
This will be sent flat, between two pieces of board.
